It consists of a rectangular tower with its earliest origins probably dating from the late 15th century and a later stair tower built on the NE side, probably late in the 16th century. The Castle has been sympathetically restored and is now available for rent on a self-catering basis for weekends, weeks or longer periods. The Castle can sleep up to seven adults – it has two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one single bedroom and a cot for one baby or toddler.
